My favorite is Vortex 2.75". I have been shooting them with the FOC and Spitfires the past couple of years.

I've killed a pile with Jak-Hammers. Last couple years I used Spitfire Maxx with good results. I like big expandables and there's a ton of good ones out there.

Some good BH stated above. I have killed 44 toms and 41 geese with NAP Shock Wave mech BH. $20 for 3 pack and in most cased, reusable, Enough said!

I typically use whatever big mechanical is on sale at my local pro shop. I've taken gobblers with Rage 2 blades, Wasp Jak-Hammers, NAP Spitfires, Hammerheads, and G5 T3's over the past few years. This year I'm going to use some Rage hypodermics I grabbed out of the bargain bin last weekend. The key is to call them in close and shoot them at the right angles.

I used the Bullhead last spring...works very well if you can get them relatively close. Like the Jakhammer and Innerloc EXP for body shots.

While deer hunting, I've killed them with Muzzys, Strikers, and Wasp Hammers, but when I go spring turkey hunting, it's Rocket Hammerheads or Grim Reapers, and the latter only because I bought a three pack to try. I certainly would not be a afraid of Spitfires either.

What is "flat" design?
Also....is there more length in that ferrule from the blade to the tip on that new 2.75" head than the old head? Maybe its the same but it looks different to me.

That is actually a frame grab of a decap on a jake that my youngest daughter shot. I have many such frame grabs on toms as well, but this one is just my favorite due to the position of the flying head. My daughter doesn't care if she shoots a jake or a tom.

WOW those Bullheads are amazing!
Anybody ever try the Muzzy More Turkey head? Looks very similar to the bullhead, but the blades are supposedly retractable to fit in a quiver.

All the heads I've experimented with in past for deer/elk that I no longer use, as long as I can get them to fly good. Save your money! It doesn't take much to anchor a Turkey if you hit them where your supposed to.

For you guys that shoot the bullheads.............................................can you shoot them thru the netting of your blind like standard fixed blade broadheads?

What would you want to shoot thru the net. No reason to keep the net down for turkeys.

Don't have a lot of experience bowhunting turkeys. Just figured you would want to hunt them same as deer (with a blind). And given their keen eyesight, I would think it might be even MORE important to have the netting up. Am I wrong?

my go to BH when using the recurve bow is a cut on impact head. This week I killed this tom at 10 yards using a Montec 5 three blade from my tent blind. Seemed to work ok as the tom did not move two feet when he hit the ground dead.
I have the net up but open it wide enough to cover out front of the blind and the decoys.
