Badlands Ox users/retrofit

I know the ox isn't a super popular pack but I had the chance to try one a bit and loved the fit. Only problem is it's only the frame that's available these days. Has anyone ever fitted a pack other than the specific ox pack to the frame?

I have used it in the past with a cheap pack like a 10 walmart pack. i just stuff it inside the meat shelf and on my way. when i have meat to haul out, the little pack goes outside and the meat in place on the meat shelf. its a lot lighter than the original pack setup
