Discussions have been had in the past about CC's being declined during the actual draw and people lose out on a great opportunity. Does anyone know if you at least get contacted stating that has actually occurred? Not saying give you another opportunity to correct it, but rather, just the information that it happened. Thanks, TODDY

It told me at the end of the application process on line that the azgfd will no longer contact hunters if their card doesnt work. So if your card is wrong or you cancell it then you are nasically out and they pass you over. Their is a final date when you can update your card number but I dont remember when that date was. I am sure it is on the website though.

Thanks bowman. I guess what I am getting at is, how would you know it was denied and that there was even a problem?

You dont, I guess, so make sure when you apply to double check that you entered all your info correctly and hope and pray like the rest of us after that.

The biggest threat is that your CC company may suspend your account because they saw something that looked like fraud and want to protect you till the situation is clarified.....if the timing is bad..you lose your 2017 application, your 2017 PP and your elk loyalty point (if you had one or were working towards getting one. The solution is to contact your CC company and alert them to the possible upcoming Arizona G&F charge...For me, I just mail it in about a week early and pray a lot !!

Bark, What happens is that they see a charge on your account that is out of the ordinary for you (perhaps a purchase of 10 bicycles from Korea, etc.) and they shutdown your acct. immediately and try to contact you to verify all is well.....if this action happens March 17th...bad things can happen..... You will know after the fact that you were rejected versus just not drawn, because on your results page of the website it will say one of three things next to each species you applied for: "Drawn", "Not Drawn", or "Rejected", as I recall. As Wylie mentioned above, there are additional bad things that happen to you if "Rejected" versus just not being drawn. I would be relatively certain that they will still plan to send out the warning email that they are getting close to the draw date, and that you have a last chance to change your credit card info.

I think that if your CC info is correct on March 16th the chance of getting drawn and something happening to your CC on March 17th are pretty dang low, I would take it as an omen.
