Guess the score, both gross and net. Gross score is not fractional net score is.

Shall we score it typical or non-typical?

Typical

I don't know if it's the pictures or the elk but he's interesting. A picture of someone holding it might help. Beams appear really short yet time length is decent. I'm going to say 294 gross. I don't even use a net when I fish so I'll leave that up to the guys that are anal about symmetry.

Those 2 abnormal points are really gonna hurt the fishermen

Tough to tell from pic. on mass and beams but I will say it grosses 300"s. He would of been something in 2 more years! Scooby

I don't know if they would be considered Non-typical. What defines an abnormal point on an elk, granted they look odd, but a clean 8x8 looks odd too.. oddly huge.

I still don't see it as black and white, its basically a 7x7 who didn't grow enough MB. I don't know if unusual would be considered abnormal. They certainly do not fit the example on the link of an abnormal point, they're going the proper direction and they are paired. Open to interpretation?

Scored as a typical 7x7

Yep, both those off points are clean off the beam and matching, no common bases. 7x7.

I'm good at judging on the ground, not so good from pics. 291 gross, 281 net?

290- looks more like a red deer than an elk with the points towards the back in a cluster like that

I knew it was narrow, but my inside spread credit sucked

Agree on the narrow but didn't think it was that narrow.

Thanks! Interesting rack! I was pretty close except for the spread credit. Tough to judge from photos.
