I am needing a new pack and was also wanting to go back to a hip quiver to get some weight off of my bow. I was looking at the catquivers. Anyone use these? They look like they would work . I owned a mini years ago and wasn't too crazy about it and the squeaking quiver. Right now I am looking at the VI.5. Any negatives? There are no dealers in this area and I am going to have to buy it sight unseen.

I attach the mini catquiver to my pack with no issues. Get the piggy backers from Selway to carry blunts and judos.

I've been using a 6.5 for about 10 years and it's still better than anything else I've used. The only negative is replacing a broadhead arrow back in a quiver full of broadheads. I usually put a small 1 or 2 arrow quiver on my bow and the catquiver is for 5 or 6 extra arrows.

Used them in the past when hunting in very rainy places. Keeps the feathers dry.

I used a mini on my pack for a couple years. Got the idea from Tom Miranda. My hunting is all active and on the ground so there were pluses and minuses if I wanted to switch packs. Also a little clumsy to put an arrow back in.
Never had any squeaking. I did cut my finger once on a broadhead. Decided I like a good 4 arrow bow quiver better, even on longbows. Tom Miranda still uses one on the pack as far as I know.
