I have a full size gator mount to go from FL to Ohio. 8-1/2' long. What is a good price for freight and ideas for who? Weighing options vs driving to get it.

United Vanlines. call an agent from either destination area , get a quote . no charge for that. U will need to pack it , build lite pallet and strap it down , rap it up , cover it with light weight wood or cardboard , write do not stack on top of carton , do not tilt.

You mau want to try grayhound bus lines. My buddy ships some car parts and other oversize items with them quite often.

I have used Greyhound bus lines to ship taxidermy as well. It was very reasonably priced and I had a good result.
