I am looking for someone to hunt with for an archery elk hunt this fall. I will be well prepared just don't feel comfortable doing my first archery elk hunt solo.

Right now I'm looking at in between missoula and kalispel. I am waiting until my tag comes so I have some more info about the general units. I have got some info from another guy that went up there 3 to 4 years ago.

Yeah I did. I have tried on hunt talk as well. I haven't gotten little to no response.

Try Wapiti Talk too. At the top of the elk hunting forum there is a Looking for a Partner sticky thread. As a matter of fact the last post on there right now is exactly what you're looking for. A guy that goes by elkfever with a general tag in Montana. He has some experience too and a plan in an area he knows. He needs a partner this season.
