Found these horns a couple of years apart. I found the one on the left fresh and the one on the right close to two years after. I actually think I have a couple years of this guys horns. My reasoning is based on the buttons, shape, and size along with finding them essentially on the same ridge line over the years.

Kinda hard to tell but on the top picture there is a big difference in between the g2 and g3 on both sides. And in between the g3 and g4 it looks to be a different curve. The right antler looks to be more straight. It could be a match though. Awesome finds!

Speaking of elk ancestry, I think that this is one of the main gene spreaders that were in the area (still looking for the big guy). The shed on the left is the same as pictured above.

Usually the buttons are mirror images. I've found around 80 elk sheds. I've found pairs close to each other and even seen a bull drop both at the same time. All those buttons look like each other.
