While turkey hunting yesterday in SE OK, I bumped into some hogs. Made a good shot on a 74 pound sow at 2PM.
Brought her back to camp, quartered her and put her on ice.
Went out about 5PM to try and get some turkeys going. Came upon an area in the trail that was rooted up pretty good. Decided to make a turkey call and a big hog stood up about 15 yards away. Then 2 more stood up. I shot a big sow and she ran about 50 yards.
Got her back to camp and she bottomed out the 220 lb scale we have. After I got all of the meat off, I weighed just the hide, head and carcass and it was right at 200 lbs!

Then I went out this morning and air mailed a shot right over a long beards back at 15 yards!!!
That's ok, I'm here all week, so it was like catch and release! I get to do it all over again!
