Has anyone been to a QDMA deer stewardship course and if so what are your thoughts? I'm considering attending the Kirksville, mo course. I'm very interested in hearing other people's thoughts on how to setup properties to kill mature deer, I have my own theories but always willing to learn what works for others.

Unless you are a rank amateur don't bother. I went a few years ago and learned that I was already doing it right. Learned nothing new. QDMA has "jumped the shark" IMO.

If you are a deer junky and want to always learn more about deer, then absolutely do the class. Do Level 1 and Level 2.

I've taken both Deer Steward classes and enjoyed them both. I actually hosted a Level 2 class at our property.

The Deer Steward classes aren't deer hunting classes, they are much more educational than that.
