If you plan on hunting big Kansas Whitetails or Muley's this year...... Friday the 28th is the cut off date to apply for a non resident tag.

I bought a point as I am hunting Ohio, Nebraska and West Virginia this year. I would of loved to hunt Kansas again but the 3 tags for the other states cost about what Kansas does. That is not a bad thing though! Shawn

I purchased a preference point just in case I win the Lottery and can afford the deer tag. :)

Paul, I could of afforded the tag easy enough just did not think i would be able to dedicate 15-20 days to one state this year! I wish everyone luck in the draw. I had two buddies who did not draw last year. Shawn

I'm having a hard time flipping that much cash over to KS for a deer tag. I'm in this year, but don't really care if I draw or not. Juggling dates in November between CO, and KS can be tough.

Looking forward to more early mule deer hunts.

I don't like the price but I do like the tag in hand every year !! As soon as the first big rut crazed buck walks in in November I forget about the money anyway.

Looking at 550 with the license and fees

Bout the same as Iowa then. That price in Ia includes an antlerless tag.

Kansas comes with an antlerless tag too.

The tag is what it is and will not be going down. I don't mind as I hunt public and private land and even with costs for my room and gas and the whole sha-bang, as long as i hunt for 15 days or more I can do it for under a 100 bucks a day. As has been said when that first giant buck is seen even if 500 yards away the cost of the tag seems fine to me. Scooby
