Interesting website if you're interested in a tracker. I've used dogs three times over the years on deer that produced little blood in tall dry grass. The last one was a cowboys cattle dog. Initially a lot of blood and then nothing. I marked the direction it was going but there was a lot of brush. I gave up on the dog figuring he was way off the trail. Then we'd find a single drop of blood, rather the dog did. It was a roller coaster of emotions and a two hour track. The deer went in a giant circle. Would have never found the deer without the dog. Deer had somehow crawled into some real thick brush.

These are the finest tracking dogs in my opinion, I have had the pleasure of tracking with two dogs over the years from the Moosbach Von Zuzulek line. If the animal is down these dogs will recover.

John lives about 20 minutes from me. I have only had to use him once but I know his and him pretty well. His dogs are the very best. John is getting up there and his wife(Jolanta) and I actually took Teddy and tracked for 4 hrs. We never did find that deer but his success rate is very high. He carries that .44 mag Thompson Center Contender to finish the animal if he has too. I felt honored as Jolanta told me has never let anyone else take the lead on one of his dogs. I have a little funny story that happened during that track job as well!! Scooby

Jolanta and I had the dog and we came to the creek that runs through the property I hunt. The only way acrossed was a fairly skinny log. The dog where a harness with a handle on his back. She said well I think you are going to have to carry him acrossed. said I am pretty sure he can swim and tossed him in and I walked over while holding his lead. She had a funny look in eye but smiled and said "That works"!! We had to cross 3 more times and he swam each time after that! Scooby
