I had a hen pheasant and big rooster mounted as they were my first pheasants when I was 8. The mounts after 40 years got pretty grubby and I trashed them. Scooby

When I lived in Kansas I had a pair, male & female, of prairie chickens mounted. Still have them among my "Critters". Most folks have never seen a prairie chicken so it's interesting for many guests in my home. For those who haven't hunted "Chickens" both sexes are legal game as there is no way to select male / female when shooting them on the wing.

nobody watching. that I know of. lol. I saw another doe on same farm that year that had a larger white patch on her head. Never got a chance at her.
