The other day a buddy of mine says "lets get a white tail doe "B" tag in MT".

Looking at unit 320 and/or 330 purchase OTC doe "B" tag. It also says you can get up to 5 white tail doe "B" tags.

So now I'm really confused - is 320 & 330, 1 doe tag or 5 doe tags?

LPT: 003-00 Over-the-counter License One per hunter. Antlerless White-tailed Deer B License. Valid in all Region 3 HDs except Canyon Ferry WMA and Lake Helena WMA.

LPT: 399-00 Unlim License One to five B licenses per hunter may be offered for purchase. Valid in HDs 320, 322, 324, 325, 326, 330, 333, 340, and 360. So, my question is if we hunt in areas 320, 330, do we have the option of purchasing ( OTC ) more than 1 doe tag?

Yes you can buy up to five! Best of luck and please shoot your does on private! Not a great deer population on most public land! Hunt

Hunt, thanks. We are not looking at shooting a bucket load of does.

About 10 years ago we were out there and paid a small trespass fee on private. The 4 different clover fields had well over 100 deer on each field (I'm guessing MOST were does) and the owner was glad to have us take one off. The other 3 guys all drew buck tags - I didn't, so shooting a doe for camp meat was a pleasure.

I was just mainly trying to figure out the regs - thanks again. Bob
