I like so many others have been lurking on this site for the last few months. I noticed that uncharacteristically all the Colorado hunters have been sorta silent. And... I don't blame you. After watching Montana's tag sales go through the roof it appears that the Colorado hunters are going to have a great year, or at least some breathing room. For the first time I can remember in 17 years they sold out of Big Game Combo tags. Then when the surplus tags (around 2000) went on sale yesterday it appears they sold out within 12 hours. So for all the Colorado hunters I hope all of you include Steve Felix on your Christmas card list this year! Good luck and shoot straight.

Amazing what a new world from Montana did for license sales.
Count me on the Montana bandwagon for 2017 (finally drew a LE permit on the 4th try). Points should be lined up for a return trip to Colorado in 2018. Very grateful for all the western bowhunting options available!

Totally missed applying for MT, myself. Only put in for sheep, goat, and moose up there.
Would be nice if something happened to relieve some of the crowding in our hills for hunting season!
Our Parks and Wildlife Department certainly won't help us out! Heck, they already take in more money every year than any two western states combined for hunting and wanted to raise resident fees again. Still, with no limiting of non-residents!
