First hunters in camp....Internet is down so no pics ...but 3 bears over 20" green so far....and a 13 year old young lady with a 19" Guess baits have lots of giant bears on them! Pics to come soon I hope!! Tom Sovereign

Well info slowly coming in....6 hunters in camp ....two 20 7/16 two at 20 3/16 and 2 at 19". Good job to all the hunters!! Guess baits covered in big bears! Have pics of 3 of the bears....internet is spotty .

Last 3 hunters of the year in camp....storm took internet out ...just got some info....all 3 got bears 19.5 19 5/8 19 3/4 Camp Average with 13 hunters will 19 3/4 ....Jeremy & Brian did a great job again this spring! Lone Wolf Camps is a Amazing place!

Those are some incredible bears! Do the big boars in your area claim the baits and that is mainly the only bears the hunters see or is every hunter just a champ at holding out and shooting the right bear? Do you kill all these big bears off the same baits every year or do you move around to different ones? Just curious. Really fantastic bunch of bears.

Hey Mike Lone Wolf Camps is in virgin remote territory....they do have 20 plus year old baits sites that just pump out big bears....one bait last year had three 20"+ bears were shot off it! When I first went in 2003 the average bear that year was 19.1....last year 19.4 and this 19 3/4 ....They can kill big boars every year and new ones just show up out of the bush to replace them....they have been running new bait sites ....but its funny they didnt even hunt the lake baits except one at all or any new baits this spring....the old well established baits pumped out the big boys again.... Jeremy says to me tell guys that ask about wanting new bait sites ...that just cuz its a new bait or never been hunted bait doesn't mean thats the best bait....im sure the 3 guys that killed 20" bears off the same bait wanted a New bait....but they got put on the bait where a big bear was! Lots of guys do go and kill first night first few hours ....Jeremy is the bear expert but it seems like sometime a giant takes over a site....but there were hunters this year that could see 12 bears at once at a bait! So its kinda a special place and many set "rules" don't always work at their camp....thanks for the questions hope I answered them all ...take care ..Tom Sovereign

That's great Tom. We often have such a parade of bears coming and going it's hard to pick out the big enough one and hunters will shoot a decent 3 or 4 yr old boar or a big sow, saying it was bigger than all the others they saw. That doesn't matter of course the bear just has to meet the big enough measurements at the bait like shoulder height one inch above the barrel, nothing else matters. You guys stacking up all these 19 inch+ bears with so few mistake bears is amazing. Your doing it right!

In last 3 years only one sow has been shot....the boys aim for guys just to get a big old Boar....and really protect the sows.....really to be honest I think only one bear in last 3 years would not make P&Y and that would be the sow...everyone has got a bear excpet 3 hunters one per year....one guy wonded 2 nice bears and was done....one guy really wanted a 20"+ and he just didnt see a bear he liked and he hit some bad luck...but passed some P&Y class bears....and then this year they had a 20" chocolate show up on the baits and a guy set his sites on him ....but as goes with hunting that darn bear didnt show on a bait he was on....then he passed on some 19" bears looking for something bigger....felt really bad for him ...but he had shots at 19.5 plus bears....but just some bad luck ..Im kinda new to this site and I just saw your operation....you do awesome also!
