Assume you drew a shiras tag??? I've got quite a few moose pics, but only know the score of 1 that is 211 and I don't think you will be finding a shiras that big. Congrats on the tag and good luck!

Congrats on the tag. This is a 46 5/8" Shiras. Officially scored 139 5/8" gross. 24 3/8" right palm length, 25 6/8" left palm length. 9" wide palms. 7 score able points on each side. You need split brows (dramatically increases palm length measurement) if you want a high scoring bull. Good luck on your hunt and keep up posted on how it turns out!

This was Idaho Shiras--not the best pic. 52"--171 P&Y. As mentioned previously--forked brow tines are key.

Dang guys....those are some some impressive bull moose!

So, if your goal is a P&Y Shiras bull or better....you want something a bit bigger than my WY bull. He's 38" and change wide, decent palms and mass...but weak forks and tops. Green scored him just over 120" gross....well short of the 125" net minimum...so I have no official score to share.
