Put in a bunch of work on the ranch this weekend. Most of the trail cameras are out as of yesterday. Still a bunch of water toward the top of the ranch due to all of the moisture this winter. Looking forward to checking cameras. I will post them up once I retrieve the cards. Thanks everyone!

Was able to check cameras on the ranch this weekend. I wasn't able to get over to the other properties and check those cameras. Still need to get cameras setup on some of our other ground. Keep running out of time! Anyways, enjoy this round of photos.

We had some great bears for you up here this year my friend. I remember sitting there with you watching about 50 elk across that small ravine, after I took my shot. Wondering if we took the time to take pictures of all that. Must of been 15 or more bulls screaming at each other.

Ron, yes I remember sitting there waiting to blood trail. The symphony of bugles in the fall never gets old.
One day I'll get back up to spend some time with you in Manitoba in the spring. Life gets in the way!

Yes Jake, I told him about the thread and he saw it yesterday and will be following it as it's updated. He is stepping up his work outs and shooting quite a bit. I will introduce him to everyone soon. I have some really fun hunts this fall but this will be the highlight of my year.

Great pics Dan.... gets the juices flowing! Can't wait t be in the mountains and chase some elk and a bear if one decides to show himself. I look forward to meeting all the crew and hunters for the last archery hunt.

Took a video on my iPhone while checking trail cameras last week. Good size herd of elk. Really nice to see a bunch of newborn calves running with the herd. My son was using his 9 year old mouth calf call at the beginning. LOL.
Make sure to turn up the volume as the elk start talking after they cross the fence. The cows and calves really become vocal as they try to match back up with each other.

Nice, I remember my first morning hunting Rocking R and the elk were going off all around us. Some days are special!

I've been twice and had shooting opportunities nearly every day. I've always gone the first week, and though warm, never thought I should come later, this was Dan's suggestion always and I never regretted it.

Probably the last edition of trail cameras before hunting season. Going to leave the bears out of this round. Lots of bears on the cameras. Also, quite a few bucks on the cameras as well. You can check out my Facebook page if you want to see all of the bears and other critters. Thanks!
