Thanks again for the great hunt, Dave. Sure is an awesome bear, glad I was lucky enough to put an arrow in him. Can't wait to see what it will score when all said and done, and we are already looking forward to next year. Amazing what caliber bear you put guys on.

Keith, I shot the longbow bear (it's the photo of 4 of us standing, also me holding the head, and behind bear, and truck skinning). He was 400lbs. I don't think we got a weight on Paul's bear but it was much bigger than mine! Dave knows where the big boys are!

Mcadam- my bear was actually chasing a sow around the bait barrel when I shot him, but she definitely didn't seem interested. We didn't see much rutting activity other than that. I would think the next 2 weeks should be perfect. Good luck!

For all the effort and quality Bears... Dave does prove he has the bears and the experience.
What's more perpelexing is I have been hunting with Dave for 5 years and I leave this Saturday for year 6 and have been so, so very close to shooting one of his giants.
I wholefully accept every single experience as hunting and I can honestly say, the reason I keep going back is witnessing the monsteous effort he takes on each and every year to get guys on bears. he just plain busts his butt.
Maybe this year, maybe not... but bear camp at TSI is a blast.
Congrats to all the hunters as let's see what's to come!

That skull looks huge but it looks like it needs to have meat cleaned off it to get a rough score... 2 wood blocks and a tape measure all that's needed for a measurement... 21 inches plus for all time B&C.... I'm not sure what the P&Y record is..... It will be interesting to see where it ends up.... 23 inches plus and you start looking at world record stuff. Nonetheless it's HUGE !!!!

Dave, I really enjoy following your thread but I'm getting a pretty sore neck from turning sideways to see the pictures. When you post a pic a button should show up on the top that says image tools. You can click on that and rotate the picture. I love looking at all the pictures you post. You guys definitely shoot some big ones.

TSI.....about the image tools.....I know when I'm browsing with an iPhone using Safari browser, I have to rotate the phone sideways to see the "IMAGE TOOLS" button on the picture in question. Same is true for the dates on postings, have to turn the phone sideways to see those. I don't know whether this is a flaw in the web page coding on bowsite, or intentional, but it has been that way since the last big update. Great bears by the way!

Dave won't give away his big bear secrets but the pictures give it away. The terrain he hunts them on in nearly vertical and no other hunters can get there. Heck it is almost straight up and down.
