One side of the rope handle on my well-used Rinehart block pulled out of the block today. Has anyone experienced this problem and if so, did they find an adhesive that worked for the repair?

I haven't had it pull out, but I once shot the dang rope in half with a broadhead that sailed on me. I used Gorilla Tape wrapped around the rope to put it back together and then went once around the target to hold it fast. Worked well. That target eventually bounced out of the bed of my truck in Wyoming so if anyone finds a Rinehart in WY with Gorilla tape around the rope handle, that's mine.

Too bad tape won;t hold it to the block. I was thinking rubber cement, but what if it just melts the block material? There have to be guys that have experienced this and tried to fix it.

I used silicone caulk on mine

It will williamtell. You can't just tape the rope down, you have to wrap the tape around the rope several times and then tape around the bottom of the target. I'm sure there's products that would work as well, but it's easy to just use Gorilla tape and I already had it.

What about putting in a large, threaded eye bolt/screw and then tying the rope to it? Or removing the rope entirely and doing two eye bolts/screws with some new paracord for the handle?

You don't want steel in your archery target.

Rinehart must use polypro ropes because you can stick it with arrows and it won't fuzz. You sure can't tie a knot with polypro. Surprised they don't sink the rope end in the block a bit more than the inch mine was in. I'll try the silicone caulk, maybe throw in a wrap or two of gorilla tape (on the other side too) - thanks. If none of this works I may have to see what they guarantee.
