Just venting over the stupid lag time in draw results. Even if I draw the elk tag I want, someone else just scheduled me to work the week I would need off. Frustrating.

LOL in Manitoba our results don't come out until end of July or August I can't remember. barely enough time to pack for an elk season that starts in late August. If you want to see backwards, just come up here.
Our yearly regs come out AFTER part of the hunting season is done, as in the 2017 regs came out in like June or something, when bear season has already been completed. Been that way for years. That's how you know the province has it together.

My friend and I were talking about how stupid it is that ID posts so late. There's NO reason they couldn't do this in Feb/or March.

Well I don't have to worry about the schedule conflict as neither my daughter or I drew controlled elk. I picked up an unlimited controlled rifle tag just to mix it up.
