Just looking for info/opinions on the Ramcat 125g broadheads. If you've used them, how do they fly and perform? Thinking about trying them this year.

They fly unbelievably well. I would be using them if the quiver options that will handle them didn't suck.

Fly well and cut monster holes. I've shot multiple elk with them and the big bulls died faster than anything I've ever shot. Wicked. I use them in a regular Hoyt quiver. Pretty tight fit but it works

How tough are the blades on them? I really like the bigger cut on these just worried the that they aren't tough.

I got introduced to the Ramcat by Clutch and Ermine, two very different but exceptional bow hunters that I respect. Killed four deer with that head last year with great results.
Personally I like the 100 grain version rather than the 125's. The 100 grains are 1 3/8 inch cut instead of 1 1/2 inch with the 125's and I can make that work in my Tight Spot Quiver. This fixed blade broadhead flys very much like a field point.
PS: The more blood trails I'm on the more I want "drano" holes. For years I used a small profile fixed head for accuracy but some blood trails were sparse and Animals almost immediately start recovering after being shot marginally and I want em down quickly.

Fly well, cut large holes, very accurate head. The blades are pretty fragile and tend to bend quite a bit. They are also absolute hell on a broadhead target. Its a killer head, but its more of a one and done type with the blades it has.

I used a 100 on an antelope last fall and I almost had to look away. Chunks of lung blowing out...Incredible...but I'm hesitant to use em on elk size animals just because of the narrow thin blades.

I wish they made the 125's with the 1 3/8" blades. They certainly dont need to be 1 1/2" and would fit into more quivers. Ive got a Titespot and the larger blades keeps me from buying them and no....... I dont want to buy the smaller replacement blades to make it work

I shot them last year. Put my buck down in 60 yards. Buddy shot 2 deer both terrible shots in the shoulder and broad head penetrated flawlessly but there was a major lack of blood on both and it was raining the day I shot mine so I have yet to see a blood trail from one. None of the heads had all the blades intact when we recovered them.

i'll be using the Ramcat 100s this year. If an elk gives me a broadside, I'll report. I'm about 99% sure I'll have some data on a big hog this December.

Shot the largest doe last year, quartering to me at the shot turned more head on. Hit hi lung thru the deer length wise broad head was sticking in rear leg at the knee joint . That was a lot of penetration was dead in two hops . WIcked wound channel
