Ahunter55, I've been in to R&R twice now since they moved to Bettendorf and I didn't even know they had a range. Less than friendly guys that work in there has been my experience.

In San Antonio, it's Mesquite Archery. Not a big store, but you can't beat the service and experience.

Straight 6 Archery in Missoula, MT. Super friendly guys, definitely didn't make you feel inferior in archery skills like some shops will (after all that's why I'm at an archery shop), also honest and very hard working! My go to shop now and it's 200 miles away!

Ravlin Hill Archery is an Amish owned and operated business in Clymer, NY. I have been going there for about 10 years, and have been very pleased.

I built my own archery shop in my basement. The service sucks and the owner is an a-hole! Ha! Honestly I wish we had a good shop locally I could trust. When you find a good one it's such a blessing!

So did you meet Mike Pelletier razorhead? Star of Hardcore Pursuit? I think he owns the store. I spent 6 years up in that area in the late 80's to 1991 before I moved to MN. I played baseball with Mike.

Tom's in Sauk County WI. He's forgotten more than I know. Guys like him are a gift. When he decides to retire (80 this year), there's no one taking his place. Thanks Tom.

Same here. I do have some good pro shops close but I work cheaper.
I do like O'Briens Archery but normally frequent Borders Hunting Shop more often since they are a Hoyt dealer. Both are in Ashland, KY and both are really good.

Used to do a little hunting with Rassmussen but moved to Colorado before the Hardcore shop was up and running. Good people - glad they're all doing what they love.
