Squeaky pack buckles

I just finished another weighted 5 mile hike. My Kifaru Mtn Warrior has developed squeaky buckles here and there. I know they are fully engaged. Does anyone have a magic elixir to lightly coat rhe plastic and cure such a problem?

Bow string wax has worked for me on squeaky buckles and squeaky boot laces. Chapstik has also worked in a pinch.
