Trufire release
Does Trufire have a customer service division? I sent an email over a week ago with some photos of my Edge hybrid release which is falling apart, asking if they viewed it as normal wear and tear or a possible warranty claim. I know the email was received as I got an "out of the office" response which indicated that the person would be back in the next day or so. I sent a follow up email a day or so ago. There has been zero response. I would like Bowsiter's to look at the photos and give an opinion whether I am barking up the wrong tree. For the record, I shoot an 80lbs Bowtech Invasion and shoot around 10 arrows a week if I average it out.

It looks like a rodent chewed it after it was used for a decade.

The straps have a year warranty. Everything else is lifetime. Judging by the pictures, that one is way older than a year. They will replace the strap for around 20 dollars. I have sent several back to them and they always come back looking brand new. Being able to get ahold of someone has gotten slightly harder since feradyne purchased them. The good news is, if you go on feradynes sight and then go to the trufire page. You can submit a warranty or repair claim online. That's what I did last time. Worked just fine and had the release back in a couple weeks. I included a link.

It looks like the release has more than served its purpose. Buy another strap or a whole new release.

I did the same as mountainman a few months ago; i had a faulty release that was a few months old. After filing a claim through the website i had a new release about two weeks later. I would say that is probably normal wear and tear though.

Thank you for your input. I will try the Feradyne route. What was getting under my skin was the fact that I got ZERO response after trying [email protected]

Sent an e-mail yesterday about having my strapped replaced. I received a response within a few hours but unfortunately they discontinued the service of replacing the straps about a year ago.

I sent in three 15-20 year old releases and they replaced all of the heads with new ones free. The only cost was the shipping to them. Great service. I did fill out a repair request prior. Paul

Might have to send a release to them. Mine chews-up my D-loop. We tried sanding it down but no such luck.
