Nice goat! That's very surprising that it is your first antelope. As much stuff as you've killed, I would have figured that you had tagged several by now. Is this the first time you've hunted antelope?

congrats! bowhunting lopes is a blast. looks like you did it from a blind. Maybe try some spot and stalk? That is also a ton of fun. in a good area you get a number of stalk opportunites per day. Such a rush, even when they nail you and take off...just move on to the next group and repeat.

Thanks everyone. Yeah it was a fun day. That was my first archery antelope buck. I shot my first buck last year with a rifle.
I also filled my doe tag today. Effing cattle were everywhere. I had to shoo them away from the blind as the doe had come to drink.
I have one more doe tag but I'll save that for rifle season.
It's time to hunt elk!

Here's a pic of a small buck that came to drink while cattle were there.

I sure do like SlickTricks.
I shot the doe as she was drinking. Head down. The arrow enter here and exited in front of her opposite back leg at 35yds

My buck was standing in the same spot as the small buck above. The wind had picked up and that drifted my arrow to the right a little. It penetrated the point of his shoulder, thru ribs and hit the spine. Knocked him down but got up and I gave him another.
