hamskea hunter pro 'spring backwards'Contributors to this thread:
I purchased a hamskea hunter pro and when i put it on my bow the spring is holding the launcher down instead of up. Anyone know how to correct this?
The spring on the string tied to your limb or the internal spring in the rest?
Is it configured for use on your down cable? That would leave it in that orientation.
No being smart but read the directions. They can be set up many ways. Upper limb, lower limb and springy. I believe there is another spring that comes with them to hold it in the down position.
i read directions and could not figure out what to change to correct problem. it is internal spring that is wrong . So you think if i change the internal spring that will fix problem ?
Let me find my instructions for my versarest. And I'll get back to you.
thanks. It said on instructions it would come with the launcher up, but mine is with launcher down and it was not clear to me how to correct this .
You need to change the internal spring. It should have come with two -one for top limb and one for bottom limb. Should have instructions included or you can check their website or call them.
Pm sent and basically exactly what nvgoat said. There should be a left hand spring and a right hand spring.
I believe Hamskea posts YouTube videos on how to set up their rests.
Thanks, yes it came with 2 springs i will swap springs and see if that fixes the problem. I checked youtube before posting here and did not find anwser to my question. There are so many one may have covered this subject ,but i did not find one . Thanks again i will swap springs.
My instructions for the versarest say the correct spring for limb and cable driven is the one than tightens as you turn it counter clockwise.
Thanks everyone changing internal spring fix the problem.
