Sorry guys apparently no service in that new spot. I saw 6 does but they got the pass. With the warm temps the only deer I was taking was the big boy. Well I walked in and saw my feeder laying on the ground but my cam still there. Anti's? Nope yogi and boo boo. No pics in about a week of the big guy hopefully the bears didn't scare him off. Heading out with my dad this afternoon, but with the temps probably gonna just be a trip to see what's going on at the spot. Stayed tuned I know I have phone service there, heading in about 4.

Back at it. Hunting the zoo. Landscaper mowing the lawn 60 yds to my right. Hopefully he's done soon. Man these temps suck, it's hot. Nothing yet, I'm figuring first deer for 6:15 lets see what happens.

Guys I got a message from deer central dispatch. Due to high temperatures all deer relocated temporarily 1200 miles North. No return date was given. They reported one deer lost from convoy this morning to JD.

I bet over 90% of guys wouldn't pass on that buck in CT. The ones that do are the older wiser seasoned hunters( like Steve) waiting for what they want. Being only my second year hunting and having only two deer under my belt I would of NEVER gave that deer a pass. Regardless even if I know there's a bigger buck around. Bottom line is I don't know if I would ever get a shot on him and if I did take the eight I still have a buck tag left. Maybe a state where there's only one buck tag but if there's two he's hitting the ground!!! Respect to you Steve for not letting an arrow fly!!
