That's it for us, elk season is over.

I am so grateful to have been able to take an elk this year. I was hoping I could get my son back up for a shot this last weekend but it's not going to happen. The season is officially over. :( It sucks but it was a decision I had to make for various reasons.

I have some things to work on between now and next season but for now it's time to pack up all the gear and get it put away neatly for next season.

I will enjoy some fall fly fishing and some pheasant hunting, and lot's of elk this winter from my bull! :)

I look forward to reading up on everyone's adventures in the coming months!

I heard that too! I may be up that way working on my parent's house this weekend, I wonder if I might be able to head up your way to get it... I'll message Matt.
