Arizona youth cow hunts.

Anyone have any experience with the youth cow elk hunts? My oldest son is wanting to shoot a elk so I figured I would find out some info.

October hunts for cow are great hunts. My stepson has one this year, so in about month I can give you a much better report about the youth hunt. We've done the general October hunt for cow a couple of times and we love it.

Cody, check the Arizona Elk Society website www.arizonaelksociety.org --- always have youth elk hunt camps each year to help mentor kids (and their parents) during the actual hunts ...

My daughter drew one in nine draw attempts. I think the standard cow hunts have better draw odds.

I might add we will be putting in as nonres. As well. Not sure if they do those tags the same as the other elk tags.
