Anyone have any feedback on this GPS

Great unit. Works well, acquires quick. Takes map chips.

I switched from a touch screen Garmin a couple years ago. I miss the touch screen.

So planning first elk hunt and looking at GPS units was looking at this as more cost effective model without touch, will take on X so on so forth?

It works well for me. As mentioned it acquires signals quickly, and accepts chips. I don't have any complaints.

As mentioned above for it's versatility on taking chips, also really like the ability to customize satellite photo's from birds eye, have no complaints at all with mine.

Awesome GPS, battery life is also pretty decent with lithiums. I have used onx chips in mine and it works great

I've got one, no problems at all. Piddling with the Onx chips takes some learning, but that's not the fault of the GPS.
