This is making the rounds. It's out of Wisconsin. Don't know all the details other than the size and what is posted. Maybe someone knows the details?

I'd have to see a cleaned skull that went 25" ......but nonetheless it's a monster !!!

I'm not sure I have seen a 25" blackie skull either. Heard of 23+....not 25.

23 9/16 is the world record BB taken by a hunter.

Last year 2016

If it's a full sized truck...maybe, and that's a BIG maybe, but it sure does appear to be Chevy S-10 size, and we all know the width of the body isn't much more than 5', so if that is any indicator of size, this bear is nowhere near what is being claimed. Won't even get into the skull size debate.

This is why I'm a strong proponent of no vehicles in the picture, only the hunter, and preferably laying a hand on the animal to show size.

Nice bear either way though, just need a bit more information than the "Look at me" post, that was presented, as a quantifying measure.

It was taken last year. Surprised someone doesn't know more about it.

Not sure if this is the one but I personally saw a 736 lb BB from Wisc. in a taxidermist studio and it looked like a black Griz. It was ENORMOUS.

DoorKnob and JL are correct, bear was killed last year, Sept 22 2016. Another Wisconsin bear killed Sept 2014 weighed 780 #. The state record bear was killed in 2010 skull measurement, was 23 5/16. Did not tell weight.

It appears those Wisconsin bears like brats, beer and cheese curds as well....
