have a look at the position of this deer’s antler. the base is all the way down by the eye instead of on top of the skull. you think that is the result of an accident or congenital?

He only has one eye, doesn't he? Unless you have more than one, one-eyed deer running around, an accident seems more likely than congenital defect.

That kind of thing probably happens way more often than we think. But coyotes have gotta eat, too....

A wise man once told me this is due to them getting stepped on early in life. Damages the pedestal and can push it down or to the side.
