Good sized doe for my area.
Good sized doe for my area.
I shot this doe last night from a 15 foot stand. She was 18 yds away broadside. By looking at this photo what organ(s) were hit? How far did she run?

Also the arrow snapped and broadhead and 3 inches of arrow were missing. Remainder of arrow had meat and little blood on it

Just far enough to hit the ground dead! That's all that really matters! But.... if I had to guess I'm with Py, I'd say liver looking at the dark blood color. Nice! ??

Really appears to be liver. But feels like it has to be close enough to catch back of lungs too? 80yds?

Stick n string is correct both lungs and 80 yards. Arrow evidence can be so deceiving after the shot, yet when she ran off I could see a good entrance wound but could not see my lumenock on the ground in the weeds.
