After regrouping from my Western hunts I'm now on my annual "Whitie hunts". I'll be hunting in four states this year and the first run goes from now until 12/6.
First stop at Razza's for our annual Doe Slam on the farms Dennis manages.

Back up camera on Dennis' Ford 150!
Have a great whitetail season Charlie. Good luck
Second day Dennis shot this doe!
Had a pretty good rain which slowed things down.
Here's my rig and pic of food plot.
Good luck on the journey. Hunt safe !!
Decided to hunt a food plot from a ground blind!
Good luck Charlie and Dennis ! Those does should have heeded the warning on Dennis' backup camera. Seems like they didn't check their surroundings too well....
Rubs and scrapes are appearing. Won't be long.
Great Stuff... congratulations
Congrats. Look forward to following along. Good luck.
Way to go guys, keep those arrows flying!
Got this pic text from Dennis. Notice the buck walking by the doe he shot:)
I got one too out of the ground blind!
Got me a "selfie remote" which pairs with my iPhone. $5. Bucks at Walmart no shipping charge!!
Doe tenderloins, Ymmmmmm good hunting. Paul
Looks like you guys are having plenty of shot opps. I always wondered an animals reaction to a dead animal of same species?!? That buck looks like he could care less. Congrats guys!
Well that's it we got 5 does and had a really fun time. Thanks Dennis!
I am now on my way to Pike/Adams County, Illinois to host two Purple Heart Recipients with Hero Shot Outfitters. This is going to be a great hunt and I will do a Semi-Live hunt report! Safe hunts all! C
Nice! A couple of fine stand-up gentlemen got it done.
P.S. when Dennis shoots that buck later it'll look like a B&C when the mount is finished. ;^)
Sweet! Looks like a bloody good time!
Congrats Gents!
How cool would it be to be Charlie when I grow up!

Good times Charlie!!! If it wasn't for the glove I might have been doeless. Have fun with the WW.
See you in Iowa.
Charlie, Thanks for the tip on the cell phone tri-pod. Just purchased one at WM. Had only been taking pictures of deer because over the last couple of years I tried lightening my pack and left my camera and tripod at the vehicle. I hope to try it out soon.
Good job guys. Safe travels and best wishes.
I'll add a few pictures from my stand.
Frank, The tripod Charlie had worked great. I ordered one too. Very small and light.
Dennis...was that the world famous fish taxidermist in the group pic?!! You guys really stacked em up!
Make sure you don’t run out of arrows before you get to Iowa, Charlie. Wes is kind of stingy with his ;-)
Nice work guys! Looks like a great property and beautiful weather. Enjoy
Troy, He has a special project planed for this year. Hope he can get it done for the taxi show.
5 deer in 2 days???!!! Way to go guys!
Dennis- that looks like beautiful country out there- what county is that?
Wow five deer down in 2 days I'm lucky if I see a deer in 5 days !
Rut, I'm in the western part of the state unit 2C.
Living the dream Charlie!! Looks like a fun hunt.
Ok- looks nice Dennis. I’ll be out there in 2D in a couple weeks. Was hoping you guys left a few out there! : )
