Like a school girl on Christmas morning! Opening day 2017. Out in my favorite tree that I've had a lot of success out of over the years. Have had 9 different bucks on cam through the Summer, but October has slowed down. Maybe I get lucky. Good luck!

Ex GIrlfirends grandparents property lol. They definitely like me more than her. The grandfather was pissed the deer ate all his vegetable this year. Wants me to kill them all.....

The shooting lane. Really the only shot I can get here. It usually works perfect though. They come from the right through all that thick stuff. I usually can hear/ see them coming. I'm at full draw before the step out.
Just had an owl land 10 yards at eye level. He stared me down for a few minutes before taking off.

Thanks guys. Z10. No deer movement yet. Have to get down at 9 to drive 2 hrs back to school for class at 1230. If I shoot one, I play hooky.

Different state, same game. Got out of class and figured I'd go sit for the last 2 hrs. Instead of rushing in with my climber I said screw it and sat on the ground. Beautiful field with a ton of runs leading into it. Hunting for any deer with at least 3 inches on one side. Let's see what happens. They should come out to feed with this cold front pushing in. It's 45 degrees up here right now.
