Settled in for an evening hunt. 60 degrees with an unusual north east wind. I have a small buck decoy in cut beans south of me

Good luck let's see one of those Illinois giants go down! I have a buddy out there in west central Illinois on his uncles lease. Says the big bucks are finally starting to chase. Could have shot multiple 130 class bucks but they're after bigger.

Messed up this am. Had a 150 class coming by. I thought he would pass At 45 yds with no shot. He angled through a shooting lane at 30. Should have been more prepared. I'm back out now in my favorite stand for a west wind. Problem is 70 degrees

Looks like a huge storm and cold front is coming in through much of the state. It should get things going right in time!

Went this am ahead of the front. 67 degrees and climbing. Saw a nice 2.5 year old and had this basket rack bed at 20 yards
