I should add "kudos" to Morgan for choosing to restrict herself to Xbow when she could have used a rifle. I have absolutely nothing against rifles or any other legal weapon for hunting, despite my opinion that Xbows are not the same thing as bows.
But her personal decision to challenge herself with a "lesser weapon" reflects the true spirit of bowhunting and I applaud her for it!

Congrats to Morgan! And you have it figured out. She is out there in the wilds doing it. Weapon choice is not the focus. She could just as easily be at home surfing the internet, warm and cozy. Kudos!

It goes without saying that Xbow is easier than Ryan with bow...but again I say, kudos to Morgan for self-imposing more of a challenge! She'll be bowhunting before you know it with a mindset like that.
I only have 1 kiddo, so can't relate to the sibling rivalry, but remind Ryan that Morgan's success has no bearing on his own success. Sometimes we all can harbor a little jealousy when a friend (or sister) tags a whopper, but the reality is another's success (or failure) has zero affect on our potential success or failure. Be thrilled for others' success and know that your own turn will come.
In this case it's all part of the FAMILY success, which is awesome. One day Ryan will look back and realize that.
