Well, Tom (Mad Trapper) and I have made it to camp. Pat is supposed to arrive sometime tomorrow. The weather looks great for the next few days, and I am sure that Pat will create a "Feature" hunt for the next week's hunting adventure....stay tuned!

Here is an 11/7 AM update....it is 0945 hrs right now. Tom has seen at least four bucks, sixteen does, four coyotes, and a coon. I have seen eleven bucks and about twenty does. Eight scrub bucks. Two decent eight points and a shooter ten point at 40 yards. He wasn't coming any closer, so I grunted and he circled downwind to thirty five yards... Still no shot. Got video of him, but couldn't zoom in because of the brush. Wind really starting to pick up. Pat...is that the best you've got? Your turn is coming, Buckwheat.... Nick, many of the trees are charred, but the grass greened up nicely.
