Damn it's early!!! Figured I would start this hunt before I left the house instead of looking like a lighthouse 20 ft up a tree. Chilly and the rut is on. Hope it's a good sit and some deer come by. Good luck to everyone who is going this morning. Will post back later

Well not expecting much now. Going through my buddies backyard to enter the woods as soon as I hit the trail to my stand white flags flew up and scampered through the woods. No blowing but the resident deer that I use for a draw for the bucks might have flown the coop for the morning. Best hope now is to maybe catch a buck cruising the funnel

Yes been beating this stand to death but keep seeing deer. I have a good entry and exit out. All quiet here but early I hope the resident deer come back this morning after I jumped them on the way in

Yup they were right off his backyard 20 ft in the woods on the trail in to my stand. Must have been in his yard eating the acorns on his lawn. He sees them all the time

It can be a good entry/exit the majority of the time, but at the end of the day they're wild animals, right? They can be wherever they want to be at any given time..

Just had a spike come cruising through. Came in quick and left quick. Hard for me to get pics unless they are hanging around. It's either the bow or my phone in my hand when I hear something. Unless I can throw my phone and knock them out I choose the bow to hold
