30 ft up on a nice safe redemption hunt in the climber. in S z9 today new spot new tree at a buddys location. i got a nice grippy white oak im posted up in. time to harvest some meat!

hada doe come to 30 yards. I think she made me when i stood up cause we had a ten minute starrin contest. but she did causually trot off after that quarterd away from me, no shot though

Wow - is it really open woods? Deer amaze me... some see you in the tree from a mile away, but then in a hemlock I feel like you could do the "chicken dance" and they wouldnt see you. Hope the next one keeps it's eyes down :)
