6:48 AM LIVE from Ct*
Happy hunting to all turkeys out there. I am up 21 feet in tree since 5:45am and I have a friend in need about 120 yards on top of a ridge. Sky is clear, 31*F, light NNW wind makes for auspicious hunting conditions. We are going to stay until 10am. He needs meat.

The sun came over the ridge and the temperature dipped. No deer movement. Only the squirrels are running crazy.

Hang in there; suburban deer will often move around school bus schedules.
Things should be picking up any minute.

Additional data point; Solunar says things have been trending downward all morning and just turned the corner... you’ve already sat through the bottom of the cycle, so things can only get better.

The stars, the moon and the sun did not align for us today. The only active critters were the squirrels and the birds. I don't know where the deer are. We're going to go back tomorrow morning if we survive the Thanksgiving feast.

Nobody told the deer that it’s a bad day to be a turkey.
And nobody said buses. Bus SCHEDULE; you know, the one that applies every other week of the season?

Thanksgiving party yesterday afternoon. How did they know I was not there?
