Just thought I'd share a photo of a new hobby of mine. I use slices of elk antlers, a vice and Dremmel tool and a lot of patience! Sucks when I get one almost done only to break a point off. I've done several different animals but elk are my favorite.

Works of art! The chances of me being able to do that are literally 0. Hold a gun to my head and you might as well just pull the trigger.

Very cool. What do you use to cut the slices of elk antlers with?
From: Ron Niziolek

I use a band saw very carefully and try for 1/8* to 1/4" slices. Orions, you bet. Always good to give back!

Really neat idea. Have you ever thought to slice an antler somewhat diagonal to get a wider medium? I'm going to have to give this a try with my shed pile. Thx for the inspiration!
