I’ve seen spotted fawns in January and February in Alabama. Often enough to say it’s not that unusual.

Northern MN just outside Littlefork (20 miles from Canada) my mom killed one the middle of November about 1995.

I saw one a couple of times in central Minnesota in December, that was 25 years ago.
