Just installed my new ripcord ace and noticed it is a bit stiff when I use the thumb cock. Is this normal? I thought maybe it is from the internal brake that prevents bounceback after the shot. It shoots great, bullet holes through paper, and bare shaft and fletched arrows are touching side by side. No big deal, just wondering. My qad rests are smooth as butter, but they are also well used.
