I'll agree with that. I'll take one 400 pounder over two 200 pounders any day! How about a pair of 400 pounders shot this past spring by my buddy Dan and I. Forest if your looking for a great hunt with an excellent guide in an area that legitimately produces 400 lb plus bears (and color phase) then give Craig a call. I have hunted with his Dad and Uncle in that area for close to 20 years and can tell you he learned from the best. He will bend over backwards to help make your hunt both enjoyable and successful. Also, don't plan on losing any weight while your there. Melanie's cooking is to die for!!

I hunted just north of there with Riverside Lodge in May. A nice area and the walleye fishing was top notch.

I had a hunter miss a blonde bear last year otherwise I was gonna be 50% colour phase taken. Either way no shortage on colours. Yes Joe I have learned from the best just happy to have tagged along since I was a little punk lol.
