Pat Lefemine - Dec-22 Mobile live hunt from Ct
1:31 PM LIVE from Ct*
A little warmer today but not warm. So far, wind is perfect. Any deer is on the menu.
Any precipitation right now?
Hey, Pat's on the case.........................................maybe a CT deer will finally die in a live hunt! ;-)
Is that Sitka Incinerator stuff?
Good luck and Merry Christmas Pat!
Yes- Good Luck Pat...............................and Merry Christmas!
Nothing yet but it’s still early
Good luck Pat , buck or doe down they go !
I’m up 15 in a good spot with plenty of fresh sign. Just hoping the front doesn’t make them buckle down and ride it out. Best wishes Pat.
Remember to count points to determine his age before you shoot;)
I'm out in Ridgefield you can hear a pin drop
Still nothing. Quiet here too. No precipitation yet and wind is still perfect - probably why I’m not seeing any action.
Same here just over line in Ri wind is picking up pretty good here
Hmmmm..... If it hasn't happened yet...
Pat's either got his hands full or a deer is holding him hostage up that tree.
Think I'll got out in the back yard and see how well I shoot in this light... 'cuz there ain't much left.
Shot one. Video looks good but he ran a long way. Gonna give it some time but I’m pretty sure he went down. Good eating young buck.
Don't tell anyone if you recover it. It will make your Bloodtrail challenge wayyyy better if we don't know if you find it.
“Good eating young buck” I like that:)
Awesome Pat! Can't wait for the pics
No bragging till dragging
Looks like he's headed north...but the picture might be pointing west. So "C" is the only logical answer.
Wow! Blood in a CT Live Hunt thread- WTG Pat!
I saw 2. Got within 70 yards. Ran out of light.
Could be squirrel blood:)
“Blood Trail Challenge” question......which way was this deer heading? :)
Bottom of photo to top. Walking
Splatter leads me to choose "Option C, shot with a short bow"
Man, these long drags are getting harder!
Good and chunky for a young one. Been eating your food no doubt!
Don't you have a game cart.
nice way to start a holiday weekend.
Drag? Who drags WT anymore?
Nice job Pat, food in the fridge.
Now who is going to pull Santas sleight congrats good shot Merry Christmas Lewis
Long drag???? How long can it be in a 2-3 acre wood lot??? ;-).
Just kidding- Congrats Pat!
Dragging a deer home to eat is a primal joy! There are hunters, there are gatherers and there are the clueless! Me likes the hunters!
Now convert that baby deer into a blood trail challenge ....
Congrats Pat! Great eater. Adolph's is calling your name. Some of my buck from last night is going in to become kielbasa and kabanas.
Looks like that Hoyt did the job!
LMAO at cnelk! That's a good one! I'll have to remember that one. Poke em Young. LOL.
"Man, these long drags are getting harder!"
Don't you have official Bowsite flunkies, minions, groupies to do that?
Biggest buck I’ve killed all year! This is a cull hunt area and after 15 years of letting little bucks go all I have is more little bucks. No apologies. When he walked in all I saw was 120lbs of Italian sausage.
Good stuff. I still find it amazing though the number of posts on Pats threads. :^)
BTW I didn’t technically drag him. I used my NXT Versacart, unfortunately he ran downhill.
120lbs of Italian sausage.......heheheheh. You could have just walked into a Son's of Italy club and got that.
Nice. Congrats Pat. Great to see a dead deer on a CT live hunt.
Congratulations! Beautiful deer!
Um, you're going to get like 60 lbs of Italian Sausage, but grats nonetheless.
Nice, congratulations! Thanks for sharing the hunt, he'll be good eats for sure.
Congrats, hope to do the same on Tuesday
Good job - except now there's one less deer in apparently deerless CT!
Charlie, you can have the hunters. I prefer gatherers because they are generally women and cook all the tasty side dishes to accompany what this hunter brings home...
