Can hardly wait. 6 of us going, 3 newbies. Feb. 15-17. Let me know if you are there before us and how you do. I still have a few days left to bowhunt here in Missouri. Trying to fit this hog hunt in before chasing turkeys in Florida, Kansas and Missouri. Hogs at Shiloh is always a blast.

Wow, nine. Those pigs will think they're starring in a medieval battle scene, with arrows flying everywhere.
You'll have a ton of fun. We celebrate every time someone kills a pig, making it a group event. I like people in my camps that are just as happy when someone else is successful as when they shoot one. Sounds like your bunch will be like that.

What’s the best time of year to go there? Never been on a hog hunt before. I live in upstate NY, maybe there are closer options? Good luck on your hunts!

There may be closer options but Shiloh is outstanding. This will be our 4th year and I know some of these guys have been there a lot more than that

That's a few of the hogs we have taken a Shiloh. 1 month from tomorrow hopefully we will be adding more

One month from today and Lord willing we will be at Shiloh on a hog killing frenzy. I saw the pic. on Shiloh's facebook of KSBOW's hunt. CONGRATS guys.

Bad Karma, Mike must be a great shot. Shooting mice with his bow. Good to 50 yds? I will try to leave those rams alone. But some coming with I'm not sure about.

My son shot one of the rams, a Corsican. It has been magnificent table fare. And it'll look good on his wall, too, as the taxidermy is his Christmas present.
And I didn't say Mike could hit the mouse, I said he'd send an arrow his way. :)

LOL, I am a weak man when I get a broadside shot. Yep, I can fling the arrow, it's the connection with the target that gets tricky. With these eyes, I'm not sure I could see a mouse at 5 yards, let alone 50. Bad Karma is right, I do love a broadside shot!

Cataract surgery was some of the best money I ever spent. I have eyes like a hawk....as one of my friends said, "hell, you're killing half the stuff on the mountain as it is. What are you going to do when you can actually see them?"

As I said before, the hunting in December was as good as it has ever been at Shiloh Ranch. If Matt and Cheryl say there are "Lots and lots of hogs" you can take that to the bank. I only saw 120 pigs my first evening hunting.
