Yep, you'll be in a separate draw. Two choices, the regular or special draw. The funny thing is that you have a better chance to draw a good unit than guys with multiple points in their draw. Good luck! DJ

As a NR, so long as there are 4 NR tags in the unit, you will have 1 tag in the NR random pool and you have a chance. In WY, 25% of tags go into the random pool. A few units don't have enough tags for there to be 4 NR tags, but many do. In WY, odds of drawing a tag in the random pool go as low as 0.1% and go up to over 10% for some hunts.

There are some limited areas that you can draw with 0... Easier to draw than the General. That might change up a bit with the bump in prices this year though.

can I draw a bull elk archery with no points in the special draw? is there another way to draw bull elk?

Not a type 9 but you might be able to draw a type 1 with zero. Look thru the demand reports, preference point and random, and see.

If you find a limited unit you can draw with zero points (and I don't mean by getting lucky in the random pool), you better really research that unit ahead of time. There is a reason a unit takes zero points to draw.
