This deer has some sort of growth on it. This is the 2nd year I have got photos of her. she seems to be doing well but she is always by herself....

I saw the deer the other night on my way home, she seemed to be walking fine.

Looks like one of those "Bummer of a birthmark, Hal" things, or cancer maybe? I'd think if it was an arrow wound A) that shot would have killed it and B) it would have healed over or killed the deer in the year+ the deer has been carrying it.

When MO had check stations I would check a couple deer a year with "growths." Most of them were healthy deer that just had an abnormality. Don't think it's anything serious. A wound from 2 years ago would have either healed, or killed it by now.
